How do I find a 32S Dental Associate?

32 Stories offers a full cosmetic dentistry service working in partnership with its dentists and cosmetic industry professionals. Our 32S Dental Associates are trained dental professionals in your local area who work in partnership with 32 Stories to provide access to cosmetic dental services.

To access our services you will need to book an initial meeting with a 32S Dental Associate in your local area who will guide you through the first step of the process, taking photos and an impression or 3D Scan. What is the difference between using 32S and getting braces from a dentist or orthodontist in a surgery?

The main difference is the accessibility and the level of convenience.

Our patients have access to a dentist through a video link 7 days a week, and they don't have to travel to a dental surgery. For patients not living in big cities, or without a local dentist providing advanced cosmetic treatment, we provide access to these services for the first time

What remains the same is the level of professionalism and quality of care. Our dentists and orthodontists are all UK licensed, using the newest technology to bring cosmetic dentistry to more people.

How do aligners work?

We will create a highly accurate virtual model of you mouth using the dental impression you will take with your dental impression.

Our orthodontists and dentists will prescribe a detailed treatment plan, specifying exact tooth movements to create your ideal smile.

We will then custom make a series of aligners designed to alter the position of your teeth over a series of months.

You will change your aligners every 1-2 weeks, as specified by your treatment plan. By your last aligner your teeth will be in their final position, giving you the smile you are looking for

What is a 32S Associate?

32S Associates are local health, beauty and wellness professionals trained in association with the British Dental Aligner Society in how to take the perfect impressions. They are based local to you, and can help you get your dental impression done quickly and conveniently, and take you through the initial consent process. Once this is done you will be seen by one of our dental team through a video consultation, exactly as you would be in a dentist's surgery.

What are the aligners made of?

The aligners are printed using the most accurate 3D printing methods, using the newest BPA-free materials. These are completely clear and pretty much invisible. Most importantly, they don't cause pain and irritation like other types of braces do.

What happens if I lose an aligner?

Your aligners are custom made for you, and can be remade if you lose one. If this happens, let us know immediately which aligner you've lost, and keep wearing the most recent aligner you have until your replacements arrive (additional cost may be incurred)

Is everyone suitable for 32Stories aligners?

The very simple answer is no, and we will be completely honest with you. Our dental team do not cut corners, and are committed to results which last a lifetime. If your case is complex you may require additional treatments to avoid relapse and complications, and we will explain this in detail to you.

What happens if my case is complex?

If your case is particularly complex we will know this once we've reviewed the 3D model of your teeth. We will explain why your case is complicated over a video consultation and give you the option to have additional procedures, such as IPR or attachments, with a partner orthodontist, with no obligation to you.

What is IPR?

Inter-proximal reduction is an important part of orthodontics for some patients, as it allows space to be created. While aligners can expand your dental arch, it can't always make enough space. IPR involves shaving the sides of teeth by a fraction of a millimeter, which is invisible to the eye, but makes it much easier for your teeth to move.

Many providers simply offer aligners to patients who actually need IPR. The results is that these patients' teeth quickly relapse, wasting the time and effort spent straightening them!

Do you offer IPR?

Are you'll need to see a dentist physically to do this, and we will be completely honest if we think you need this.

We partner with local dentists in your area, and we'll provide you with their details, with no obligation, and we will let you know the cost of this treatment beforehand so that you can make a fully informed decision If you decide to go ahead with treatment we can share all of your details with them, including, your 3D model and the detailed description of what level of IPR is needed and on which teeth. This saves you an extra trip, and means your results will last a lifetime!

What are attachments?

Attachments are small white 'bumps' which are attached to teeth using special dental glue. When aligners are placed over the top of these they can allow extra pressure to be applied, to force certain types of movement, particularly rotation. Sometimes you will not get perfectly straight teeth without these.

If this is the case we will be honest with you, and explain your options during the video consultation

Do you offer attachments?

As you'll need to see a dentist physically for this we partner with local dentists in your area who deal with these more complex cases. We will talk you through the options and provide you with a transparent list of prices for providers in your area. You will then have the chance to select which specialist you want to see, with no obligation.

If you decide to go ahead we can share all of your details with them, including, your 3D model and the detailed description the proposed treatment plan.

Are all of your dentist and orthodontists UK certified?

Yes. We are a team of dentist, doctors and orthodontists all fully qualified, and committed to making high quality cosmetic dental services more accessible to everyone, without cutting corners

What do I do if I have questions, or there is a problem?

Our customer support is available 7 days a week for any queries. We can arrange for you to have a video consultation with a dentist too, if this is needed. Your local 32S Associate is also an excellent source of advice and support!

What happens if I have implants, or other existing dental issues?

Safety is our primary concern. Our dentists will discuss your dental history with you during your consultation. If they feel you are not suitable for aligners or whitening for whatever reason, they will inform you of this. Depending on your risk factors, they may also suggest you go for an Xray prior to commencing treatment, and they will put you in touch with local 32S partners who can do this for you.

Can I speed up my aligners?

Your treatment plan is carefully designed and prescribed by a specialist in tooth movement, just for your teeth. They will specify how long each aligner should be warn for and we strongly recommend that patients do not deviate from this plan to avoid complications

Do you offer discounts?

In healthcare we believe you should not cut corners and so we do not offer discounts. Our fixed prices reflect the consistently high quality of our products and services.

FAQ
Aligners
What is the difference between using 32S and getting braces from a dentist or orthodontist in a surgery?

We partner with our network of dentists and dental professionals to provide all patients with a team of specialists to look after their cosmetic dental needs. That means each patient gets input from multiple cosmetic specialists, not just one, to get the best outcomes for them.

Patients can access top cosmetic specialists from all over the UK using video consultation technology, which means they don't have to travel long distances. It also means our products are usually more affordable, as we don't need to have as many physical visits.

Our service also supports patients 7 days a week, providing high quality, personalised care throughout treatment.

How do aligners work?

Clear aligners use new technology to move the teeth gradually, while being practically invisible. Patients will have a series of custom-made aligners which are changed every 1-2 weeks and will gradually move the teeth into perfect alignment.

What are the aligners made of?

The aligners are printed using the most accurate 3D printing methods, using the newest BPA-free materials. These are completely clear and pretty much invisible. Most importantly, they don't cause pain and irritation like other types of braces do.

In such cases we can provide you with alternative treatment options with a 32S cosmetic dental partner in your area, and give you a clear, fixed price, so that you can make an informed decision about whether to proceed, without having to rely on Google or social media or pay inflated prices to access a great cosmetic dentist.

What happens if my case is complex?

If your case is particularly complex we will know this once we've reviewed the 3D model of your teeth. We will explain why your case is complicated over a video consultation and give you a detailed breakdown of your options and the cost for each, with no obligation to proceed.

What is IPR?

IPR stands for Inter-Proximal Reduction, and is a procedure to remove tiny amounts of enamel to slim down the teeth, creating extra space for the teeth to move. It is safe and has no visible impact on the teeth, but makes orthodontic treatment easier in some cases.

Do you offer IPR?

FAQ
Whitening

Is your whitening the same as the over the counter products?

No, we only provide dental strength whitening products which are designed to achieve VITA B1 shades. Our products can significantly improve the whiteness of your teeth within a few days due to the concentration of active ingredient, which is 6%. Due to safety regulations this can only be prescribed by a dentist.

Over the counter whitening has a maximum strength of 0.1% by law

Is everyone suitable for whitening?

Unfortunately not. Our dentists will discuss the risks and benefits with you during your consultation and will only prescribe whitening if they feel this is safe for you.

How long can I use whitening for?

You will be prescribed a whitening course by your dentist following your consultation. This will contain enough whitening for your case, and we recommend that you do not exceed the stated duration of use.In addition, we ask you to look out for the side effects described during your consultation. If you start experiencing severe sensitivity we recommend you take a break, as this sensitivity should subside over time.

How long does whitening last?

The quality of our product ensures that your will see a significant improvement in the whiteness of your teeth, or you'll be offered your money back. However, repeated smoking, drinking coffee and red wine will re-stain your teeth over time. This is why we're offering our subscription service, so that you can keep your teeth white for a lifetime.

What is the whitening subscription service?

Once you've achieved the white smile you want we believe you should be able to keep it. Daily foods and drinks unfortunately can stain the teeth again, which is why offer an exclusive subscription service for whitening gels for our existing patients. You will receive a new supply of whitening gels every six months automatically, to be used for just a few days, to keep your white smile topped up! Visit our whitening page to find out more.

Is your whitening the same as the over the counter products?

No, we only provide prescription-strength whitening products which are designed to achieve VITA B1 shades. Our products can significantly improve the whiteness of your teeth within a few days due to the concentration of active ingredient, which is up to 6%, and is the Gold Standard of whitening within dentistry. Due to safety regulations this can only be prescribed by a registered dentist.

Because our products are made by top manufacturers in the US and UK who specialise in cosmetic dental products they are guaranteed safe for the enamel and underlying tooth structures if used as prescribed.

Over the counter whitening has a maximum strength of 0.1% by law

Is it safe?

Absolutely. 32 Stories dentist-prescribed tooth whitening system is subject to a thorough remote assessment and online consultation, your prescription will be custom-designed based upon your requirements and the tooth whitening products are within the safe limits stated according to the Cosmetic Products Enforcement Regulations 2013 and originate from one of the world's best laboratories specialising in tooth whitening products in the United States.

The active ingredient of our tooth whitening gel has been used for many years and was first applied to dentistry for treatment of bad gums, we often actually see improvements in people's gum health after treatment has been completed. Similarly, the active ingredient does not cause damage to any existing restorations e.g. crowns.

You might get a bit of sensitivity during treatment but 32 Stories have a solution for you, they have worked closely with the same lab in the US who provide the tooth whitening gels to develop a desensitising serum that remineralises the enamel and reduces sensitivity so that you do not have to make any changes to your lifestyle.

How long does it last? Will I have white teeth forever?

With some careful maintenance, your results can last indefinitely. Maintain good oral hygiene with an electric toothbrush, regular flossing and intermittent use of a gentle whitening toothpaste that is not too abrasive.

How long will it take? Does it always work?

Usually you will see results within a few days but it can take longer for some people. Provided you are patient and follow the instructions you will see results.

Our system is effective in 98% of cases and following our rigorous triage and consultation process, it is unlikely that reasons that whitening might not work would not have been brought to your attention already. Reasons might include intrinsic staining, pre-existing dental work in the aesthetic zone or significant extrinsic staining. If none of these factors apply then it is a simple case of extending the treatment time, the 32 Stories whitening system rarely fails to deliver results. If you are disappointed having whitened your teeth for the prescribed time, please do not hesitate to contact customer support and we will find a solution for you.

How does the 32S whitening system work?

The active ingredient used in the 32 Stories whitening gels is hydrogen peroxide. Hydrogen peroxide is a simultaneous reducing and oxidising agent that is highly active in penetrating the surface layers of enamel and breaking down the coloured contaminants that make the teeth appear dull and stained. Once these coloured compounds are removed, your own natural, pristine enamel is what remains. Well done you!

Will it hurt or cause sensitivity?

You might experience some sensitivity of the teeth and gums during treatment. This is only temporary and will subside soon after treatment has been completed, and does not indicate damage to teeth. The formulation we use is 100% safe for the enamel and the dental pulp complex within the teeth,  if used as prescribed. This is why these formulations are approved and endorsed by the General Dental Council.

32 Stories have taken steps to manage this type of sensitivity by providing a remineralising gel alongside your tooth whitening gels that will help to reduce sensitivity. You can take additional precautions by using a mild, desensitising toothpaste before, during and after treatment as well.

Is everyone suitable for whitening?

Unfortunately not. Our dentists will discuss the risks and benefits with you during your consultation and will only prescribe whitening if they feel this is safe for you. Teeth whitening will not be prescribed for patients under the age of 18.

What happens if I've got crowns, fillings or veneers?

The tooth whitening products will not change the shade of your composite, porcelain or ceramic restorations. If you'd like whiter teeth we may need to consider matching your new white smile with some fresh composite. We can discuss this with you on your video consultation if this applies to you.  Even better, the Full Smile Upgrade includes tooth contouring and composite bonding which can solve the problem of non-matching fillings.

I've lost my whitening tray, what do I do?

Please contact your Treatment Coordinator. For a small fee to cover the extra labour and shipping costs we will send you another set of your whitening trays.

My whitening tray no longer fits, what do I do?

This would likely only occur if you have had recent major dental work including crowns, bridges or orthodontics. If your orthodontic work was carried out by 32 Stories and we have your dental information on file, we can send you a set for a small fee. If not, we will unfortunately have to re-initiate a treatment schedule and consultation, which would require you to pay for a new set of whitening trays. Please note that certain major dental works will impact the likely success of any whitening course.

When will I be charged?

It depends on the type of payment method you opted for.

Credit or debit card

If you used a credit or debit card to order, you’ll be charged when the order is made. When you place the order we authorise the amount and capture the amount. This is typical for custom made products.

Klarna Slice it

Klarna Slice it provides interest-bearing financing for your purchase. All payment will go through Klarna and will not be handled by 32 Stories.

Klarna Pay in 3 instalments.

If you choose Klarna Pay in 3 instalments, you’ll have one part payment at purchase and further payments at 30 and 60 days. All payments will go through Klarna and will not be handled by 32 Stories.

PayPal

If you used PayPal, you will be charged as soon as you place the order.

Do I need to create an account to buy from your online shop?

Because 32 Stories services require the input of health care professionals and are not right for everybody, we don't operate an online store. You will work with your 32 Stories associate and be assessed by a dentist before being provided a personalised payment link, reflecting your particular situation.

You will be provided with a sign up form and consent form which must be filled out ahead of treatment going ahead.

Can I get a VAT invoice?

All dental services are VAT exempt.

Pay later with Klarna – how does it work?

Klarna is a Swedish independent payment service provider that takes end-to-end responsibility for your payment. Over 85 million consumers worldwide have trusted Klarna to securely handle their payments. We offer Klarna pay in 3 and financing options:

 How to pay later

  • In the payment request email, either select '"Pay Now" to pay in the usual way, or select Klarna "Pay later" as your payment method
  • You will then follow a separate payment process via Klarna and will receive correspondence directly from them

How does Pay later in 3 interest-free instalments work?

Pay later in 3 interest-free instalments will allow you to spread the cost of your purchase over 3 equal payments. The payment for each instalment will automatically be collected from the debit or credit card you entered at checkout. Your first instalment will be collected when your order is confirmed by 32 Stories and instalments 2 and 3 are scheduled 30 and 60 days later, respectively. You can always monitor your payments’ schedule in the Klarna app.

To use Pay later in 3 interest-free instalments you must be at least 18. Whilst this option is widely promoted, Pay later in 3 interest-free instalments is subject to your financial circumstances. When choosing Pay later in 3 interest-free instalments, Klarna's assessment will not affect your credit rating. To improve your chance of a successful application, ensure you provide your full name and accurate address details and shipping to your registered billing address. All orders are assessed individually.

What do I need to provide when I make a purchase?

If you want to make a purchase with Klarna using Pay later in 3 interest-free instalments, you'll need to provide your mobile phone number, email address, current billing address and a debit or card card. All communications will be sent to your email address. It's very important that you give us the correct details, as otherwise you will not receive your payment schedule and any updated order information.

Will a credit search take place against me?

Klarna may run so-called unrecorded enquiries (or soft credit searches) that do not affect credit scoring and are only visible to you and Klarna, but not visible to other lenders. Neither Klarna nor 32 Stories run credit searches against you that could impact your credit rating.

What happens if I don’t pay for my order?

Klarna will automatically attempt to collect your payment for your Pay later in 3 interest-free instalments purchase at 32 Stories from the debit or credit card you entered at checkout. If we are unable to collect your payment on the scheduled due date Klarna will make one further attempt to automatically collect payment two days later. Should this last payment attempt fail, Klarna will issue you a statement for the full outstanding order amount which will become payable 15 days later. Klarna shall notify you when a payment is due two days in advance of attempting to collect your payment and you can always monitor the due date in the Klarna app at your convenience. Your credit score will not be impacted by using Klarna’s ‘Pay later in 3 instalments’ product even if you have failed to pay on time.

How do I use Financing?

When you shop online, Klarna’s system reviews each order to determine which payment options are available to you. If Financing is offered, simply select this option. The first time you shop with Financing you will be asked to apply for a Klarna Account. If you’re approved Klarna will create an account for you and your order will be placed. Every time you shop with Financing after that, you only need to agree to the purchase and won’t need to sign up again. The order amount will be added to your Klarna Account as additional promotional plans. You can always monitor the payments due in the Klarna app.

I have been asked to go to the Klarna site. Is this correct?

If you have chosen to pay with Financing by Klarna, Klarna will send you an email with further details on how to pay.

Can I pay less than the amount owed each month?

You can at any time choose to pay your minimum payment instead of your interest-saver payment. Your monthly minimum payment is the amount to be paid to avoid incurring late fees on your Klarna Account. Should you choose to pay your minimum payment instead of your interest-saver payment this will mean you will lose your promotional plan offer and the remaining balance will start to incur interest at 18.9% APR (variable).

Do I need to be 18?

Financing is only available to people aged 18 or over and is an online exclusive payment method.

How do I manage my Klarna Account?

Log in to the Klarna App or Klarna.com/uk at any time day or night, to review your purchases and settle your monthly statement. If you need further assistance, you can contact Klarna’s Customer Service team.

Which payment methods do you accept?

We accept the following payment methods in the online shop: Klarna, Visa, American Express, Mastercard, all Debit Cards and PayPal.

There's also the option to checkout with PayPal Express. It's a fast and secure way to bypass guest checkout and purchase our products online. PayPal has all of your details saved, so all it takes is an email address and password to safely complete your online purchase.

Klarna Slice it

You have the option to finance your purchase, using Klarna.

Pay in 3 instalments with Klarna.

Get what you love now, pay over time. One part payment at purchase and further payments at 30 and 60 days.

Klarna is an external payment provider that will send you payment details after your order has been shipped.

  • Received
  • Shipped

You may also receive the following:

  • Event and location based notifications

No, 32 Stories services are custom made for you and therefore not subject to cancellation or refund once an order is made.

By the time you have ordered your product, you have received the input of multiple qualified Dentists and other health professionals. They then translate your individual requirements and their expertise into your custom-made aligners or whitening trays. For this reason, the 32 Stories service is therefore non-refundable at not subject to cancellation.

What emails will I receive regarding my order?

Typically, you’ll receive the following emails in regards to your order:

  • Order confirmation email to acknowledge we have successfully received your order
  • Confirmation email to inform you that we started creating your item for you
  • Shipping email containing your Track & Trace code
  • Order delivered email to confirm the parcel has been delivered
Will I receive a copy of my invoice?

Yes, we will email you a PDF copy of your invoice. You should receive it shortly after you get your shipment confirmation email.

How do I know if my order is processed?

You will receive an order confirmation email when your order has been placed successfully. Once you receive the shipment email your order has been processed successfully.

The process of designing and manufacturing your custom made aligners or whitening trays takes a number of days so you should expect there to be a time lag between order confirmation and shipment. If this takes more than 10 days, however, please contact customer services so that we can speed up the process.

Have you not received your confirmation email?

In that case, please contact our customer services.

How long after receiving my confirmation email will I be able to track my order?

After you receive your shipment confirmation email, it can take up to 24 hours before you will be able to track the package online. This is because your carrier needs to scan your package before you can track it. It can take slightly longer if there’s a weekend in between.

Where can I find my order number?

A few minutes after we receive your order, we’ll send you a confirmation email that includes your order number. If you can’t find your confirmation email, check your spam folder. If you are using Gmail, check the promotions folder.

If you recently made your purchase, be aware that it may take up to five minutes to process your order before you get your confirmation email.

If there’s a spelling mistake in the email address you submitted, we will not be able to send you an email. But don’t worry, your order will still be processed as normal.

How can I check my order status if I haven’t received a confirmation email?

If you purchased your products with PayPal, you don’t need to contact us. You can find your order number under ‘purchase details’ – it is 3 capital letters followed by an 8-digit number.
