Thank you to our volunteer dentists!

At the start of the COVID-19 pandemic we started offering free video consultations for patients unable to access a dentist.
We did this because we wanted to help in any way we could during a time of national crisis, primarily to keep patients safe, and out of A&E unless absolutely needed.

Since then, our volunteer dentists have seen over 700 patients from all over the UK, completely free of charge, 7 days a week. We've received no funding from any public or private bodies.

We've had wonderful feedback, and are pleased to have been able to help hundreds of patients access dental support during a time of great uncertainty with our amazing team of volunteer dentists.

Since the start of the lockdown, the UK's Chief Dental Officer has clarified that all NHS practices should provide telephone triage to all of their patients during working hours.This means our team of volunteer dentists will no longer be able to provide this free consultation service in addition to their high NHS workload.

Patients in need of urgent dental care should therefore contact their regular practice, who should have dentists on call during normal working hours to see them.We want to thank our volunteer teams, from the tech team, to the admin staff and our volunteer dentists, for all of their hard work, as well as our patients, for their lovely feedback and kind words.
